The film screened at CANNES 2022 and acquired by Buffalo 8 Distribution for international licensing.

A passionate film director / creator with experience in feature films, commercials and music videos, working with Wu Tang Clan, Craig David and Oasis... An early career highlight was receiving a Brit award for the landmark video for So Solid "21 seconds’. Committed to bringing aspirational, feel-good films, she embarked on four feature films, 'StreetDance 3D' and its sequel, the musical "Walking on Sunshine' with Vertigo films and 'Breaking Point' with Sky movies and Hanway Films.
The first StreetDance film, tells the story of a creative collision between a group of hip-hop dancers and a ballet troupe, featuring Charlotte Rampling, was the highest-grossing independent British film of its year, eventually bringing in £11.8m in UK. Selling to over 30 countries with a gross International box office of £40 million.
In light of Breaking's acceptance as a recognised sport in the 2024 Paris Olympics, Breaking Point brings this subculture into the mainstream through two complex brother leads.
Writer
Mike is a vastly experienced multi-optioned screenwriting professional with several feature films currently in development including Launchpad, The Widow of Rattlesnake Bite, and Million Dollar Shark.
A regular in the Palais des Festivals at the Cannes Film Festival each year, Mike continues to write for film and TV projects around the world. His 2022 commissions include crime, thriller, historical drama and science fiction, and several of his recent projects are adaptations from novels or memoirs.
A Theatre Studies graduate from the UK's prestigious Rose Bruford College of Theatre and Performance, he is currently completing a Masters Degree in Screenwriting.
